Keepsakes Iligan Souvenirs & Crafts
Keepsakes Iligan Souvenirs & Crafts is a social enterprise that creates handmade souvenir items of Iligan with ethnic-inspired designs. They express their support to local livelihood associations, home-based crafters and skilled workers by partnering with them for our raw materials and other products. Most of their partners are survivors of Tropical Storm Washi that badly hit Iligan in December 2011.
Many of our products’ accents are inspired by the Higaonon and Maranao designs. This is to help promote the culturally-diverse city of Iligan where Christians, Higaonons and Maranaos live in harmony.
Abaca is the One-Town-One-Product of Iligan City. They strive to make abaca in its different forms whether it be woven, rope, raw, and etc. Since, this is one of the base materials for their products. The second base material they use is bamboo, engineered and raw.
As a motto Keepsakes Iligan Souvenirs & Crafts says "At Keepsakes Iligan, we go the extra mile by providing customers with what they need, the best we could."
