Mount Agad-Agad has an estimated height of 1,600 feet above sea level. For an average hiker, the peak can be reached in just 2 to 3 hours, so it's not an impossible feat for beginners.
The trailhead is at Barangay Pugaan which is accessible by a jeepney ride from the city proper. A hanging bridge marks the beginning of the trail which initially passes through woodlands that at times become very green, as well as villages where friendly locals can point directions, preventing the need for a tour guide.

Trekking to Mount Agad-Agad requires a very low budget. Upon arrival at the mountain, there is no entrance fee and corkage fee so tourists may bring their food and drinks as long as they can conveniently carry it with them.

At the peak of the mountain, the view is breath-taking as tourists can enjoy the spectacular sight of the whole Iligan City. There are also huts, swings, chairs, and tables to make it look like a park. The park serves as a campsite too for trekkers who wish to stay overnight. The cool mountain breeze offers a refreshing vibe perfect for relaxation and meditation after a knee-trembling trek.
